but even that would have been post-deadline. So who leaked the front page story and breached the confidentiality rule every Councillor I have tried to speak to talks of?
Must have come from in-house. I hope they would have an inquiry. We have a suspect. Someone who would have got the arse card if those so keen on their Council-appointed positions hadn’t bent over and taken one in the chook for the incumbent CEO….
Is anyone going to get a smack for this? And the other question has to be asked – how can you trust the city burghers with your personal or commercially sensitive information if they just run off at the mouth to suit their own purposes?
I rang my Councillor who lives nearby yesterday only to be told he could not talk about it as he was bound by confidentiality. Does confidentiality only apply to some and no others? They seem to abuse process to suit their own purpose on a daily basis.
